There’s a fight night in the house, woot woot! This card is kinda ass outside the top 3 fights but at least it’s something to gamble for the first weekend with no football since August. This will probably be a little bit of a shorter blog since this card doesn’t have too much to talk about. I think I was able to find some diamond in the rough bets but in terms of fights of consequence, none of these guys are sniffing a title for a long time. Dolidze and Imavov are around 3 wins after this from getting a title chance, Moicano and Dober like 6 each, and no one else will be near one, potentially for their whole careers. Enough of my negativity, let’s get into these picks.

Main Card

Roman Dolidze vs. Nassourdine Imavov Middleweight Bout

These guys both had great momentum before losing their last fights. Both with title trajectory and crushing all of the competition put in front of them. Right when they neared the cusp of glory they fell in boring decision losses against better fighters. Both of these dudes are going to try to make a big statement coming after their big losses and I don’t see this starting slow. Have a feeling it looks sloppier than Imavov is used to which favors Dolidze a lot more. I see swinging for the fences out the gate and someone going to sleep. Let’s hope it’s Imavov.

Roman Dolidze by 1st Round TKO +145 1 unit

Renato Moicano vs. Drew Dober Lightweight Bout

This one pains me because I like both of these dudes a lot. They never shy away from a brawl and do not plan on letting things go to the judges. Drew Dober has that uncanny ability to put people to sleep with one touch to the chin. The issue is, normally those guys have to be black for it to happen. Renato Moicano doesn’t fit the bill of the normal victims and I think he is a bit too talented to get caught like that. I see the first round being very dangerous and after that Moicano will have his way with Dober.

Renato Moicano by 2nd Round Submission (SGP o .5 Rds) -120 1 unit

Randy Brown vs. Muslim Salikhov Welterweight Bout

Muslim Salikhov has to be one of the more overrated fighters out there. He has never really been all that good in the UFC and is now 39 years old. Randy Brown should dominate this whole fight but I see him having a very hard time putting him away.

Randy Brown by Decision (Win in Rd 3 or Dec) -115 1 unit

Viviane Araújo vs. Natália Silva Flyweight Bout

I like Araujo a lot here. Natalia Silva is the new young talent coming in but she has not faced an opponent of this caliber, or really one even that close. Viviane is coming off a great win over the always difficult Jennifer Maia. Silva has a good win over Andrea Lee and that is about it. I see her starting this off confident as Araujo slowly but surely takes the fight away from her and grinds her out for a decision.

Viviane Araujo by Decision +280 1 unit

Aliaskhab Khizriev vs. Makhmud Muradov Middleweight Bout

Always a sucker for a Dagi undefeated prospect but man do I hate them. Would love to see Muradov come out here and just beat the breaks off Khizriev but I don’t see it happening. Weird that having the height disadvantage may help Khizriev with his wrestling strength. I see him getting this to the ground and finishing it however he wants once there.

Aliaskhab Khizriev by 1st Round Submission -142 1 unit

Gilbert Urbina vs. Charles Radtke Welterweight Bout

Now we are in the weeds, this fight blows chunks and shouldn’t be on the main card. Both have records inflated by tomato cans and are not good enough prospects to sniff a ranking. I’ll give Urbina the big edge because of his height advantage and a little bit better pool of opponents faced. Made it a 2 unit play but will probably just toss in a parlay and not SGP it.

Gilbert Urbina by 2nd Round Submission (SGP o .5 Rds) -145 2 units

Prelims

Molly McCann vs. Diana Belbiţă Strawweight Bout

Molly McCann by Decision (Win in Rd 3 or Dec) -130 1 unit

Azat Maksum vs. Charles Johnson Flyweight Bout

Azat Maksum by Decision (SGP o 1.5 Rds) 2 units

Themba Gorimbo vs. Pete Rodriguez Welterweight Bout

Themba Gorimbo by 2nd Round Submission (SGP o .5 Rds) -140 2 units

Jeong Yeong Lee vs. Blake Bilder Featherweight Bout

Jeong Yeong Lee by Decision -185 2 units

Luana Carolina vs. Julija Stoliarenko Flyweight Bout

Julija Stoliarenko by 1st Round Submission -148 1 unit

Landon Quiñones vs. MarQuel Mederos Lightweight Bout

Landon Quinones by 1st Round TKO +124 1 unit

Thomas Petersen vs. Jamal Pogues Heavyweight Bout

Thomas Petersen by 1st Round TKO -175 2 units
