We are back for another fight not on this beautiful Saturday. This card is pretty booty cheeks but there are some solid lines we can take advantage of. It finishes off with a contender fight between The Korean Zombie and Dan 50k Ige which should be absolute fireworks, right after having to watch a 43 year old Aleksei Oleinik fight Sergey Spivak. It seems like whenever we have a PPV the card that comes right after is pretty fucking terrible. I feel like this card came together just so we can see some finishes after last week’s decision fest. There are a lot of heavy hands tonight and I would not be shocked if I end up taking some unders later when I am a little under the influence. Well the best part about weak cards are usually the extra juicy lines so let’s get into these picks.
Main Card
Chan Sung Jung vs. Dan Ige Featherweight Bout
This line is absolutely bonkers to me. TKZ is one of the best fighters in featherweight history and if it wasn’t for a stint in the Korean military, he very well could have gotten another shot at Aldo. Jung has 2 losses since his return from Korea, with one of them being the luckiest last second KO in UFC history, the other was a clinic put on by Brian Ortega who is about to fight for the belt. Dan Ige has been a huge surprise since entering the UFC, almost always being an underdog in his fights, he has won 7 out of his last 8 with a close decision loss to Kattar. Other than that fight, he hasn’t come up against any competition that was too spectacular other than his bullshit win over Barboza. With TKZ as the dog here you just have to take him, he has an advantage at every level in this fight except for power.

Aleksei Oleinik vs. Sergey Spivak Heavyweight Bout
Alright now c’mon, Aleksei has no business still being in the UFC. The heavyweight division finally has some decent depth with some fat dudes rounding out the bottom. Aleksei used to be a fun watch, always threatening with a submission if he can get into the later rounds, but now has no chin and no strength relative to these freaks of nature. Sergey will end this fight with relative ease and will be the easiest cash of the night.
Sergey Spivak by 1st Round TKO -152 (Prop Finish Line) 2 units
Marlon Vera vs. Davey Grant Bantamweight Bout
This is a rematch that not many knew happened. Davey took the decision victory back in 2016 and I see it happening again. Davey is an awkward long fighter that has the knack to make it his kind of fight. Not sure what Vera has accomplished to make him a -200 favorite other than an awkward win over Suga Sean. Marlon is going to get suckered into a brawl and Davey will come out on top.
Davey Grant by Decision +170 1 unit
Julian Erosa vs. Seung Woo Choi Featherweight Bout
Super close line here, most likely because of that skid that Erosa had after joining the UFC. Since then he has won 3 straight over great competition and looks like the prospect Dana thought he was on DWCS. Seung Woo Choi has a big win over Youssef Zalal in his last bout but other than that hasn’t taken out anyone too great. This is a really close one to pick but I like Erosa’s finishing ability to come through and make a highlight of the night.
Julian Erosa by 2nd Round Submission +120 1 unit
Wellington Turman vs. Bruno Silva Middleweight Bout
This one I went back and forth on non stop. Wellington is so young, you imagine he will show up better to every fight he has, and for the most part he has. The issue is that he can get overwhelmed if he doesn’t get the fight into the position he wants it. If Bruno is able to avoid the clinch and the ground for most of the first, this fight is going to be his with ease. I see Turman doing something silly and getting caught by Silva’s heavy hands.
Bruno Silva by 1st Round TKO -135 1 unit
Matt Brown vs. Dhiego Lima Welterweight Bout
Jesus why is Matt Brown still fighting? I get that he is the Immortal but at 40 with 2 straight losses, it’s time to hang them up. Not like Dhiego is anything special as a fighter, but at 31 he has way more in the tank to grind this one out and take home the win bonus. Probably going to throw a stupid amount on Lima because Matt Brown ain’t winning without a ton of random luck.
Dhiego Lima by Decision -180 2 units
Prelims
Aleksa Camur vs. Nicolae Negumereanu Light Heavyweight Bout
Nicolae Negumereanu by 2nd Round TKO +200 1 unit
Kanako Murata vs. Virna Jandiroba Strawweight Bout
Virna Jandiroba by Decision -125 3 units
Khaos Williams vs. Matthew Semelsberger Welterweight Bout
Khaos Williams by 1st Round TKO -147 1 unit
Josh Parisian vs. Roque Martinez Heavyweight Bout
Josh Parisian by 1st Round TKO -142 2 units
Joaquim Silva vs. Rick Glenn Lightweight Bout
Rick Glenn by Decision +115 1 unit
Casey O’Neill vs. Lara Procópio Flyweight Bout
Casey O’Neill by Decision +135 1 unit
DraftKings Lineup:
I got started really late writing this one so I am happy I was able to get something down to prove I am still really good at gambling. I have been up so much money in the last 2 months, I haven’t had to pay my bookie since mid March. Not losing money on football has really been a saving grace. Keep following my picks and you will come out on top I promise. Stay smart with your units and as always, may luck be your lady tonight!
