We are back with a HUGE PPV this beautiful Saturday. A heated rivalry with the ever so cocky Israel Adesanya vs the huge fucking dork in Marvin Vettori. We have the flyweight title rematch with Figgy Smalls vs the Clown Baby… err I mean the Assassin Baby. Then to round out the top 3 we have a 5 round welterweight contender fight between the least likable fighter on the roster in Leon Edwards and the most likable in Nate Diaz. What a fucking night of gambling and violence we have ahead of us. Also fortunately for me, my bookie never took off the money I made last week and still paid me out while also accidentally throwing me an extra 4 units out of nowhere, so I am playing with house money in the most literal sense. Let’s get into these picks.

Main Card

Israel Adesanya vs. Marvin Vettori Middleweight Championship Bout

I am making a questionable decision here rocking with Vettori. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the guy, but he is the best wrestle fucker in this weight class and they always find their way to the belt. In their first bout, I truly thought Vettori won and was pretty shocked when they raised Izzy’s hand. In this bout I see Izzy trying to control the distance early, but if he doesn’t land hard enough shots Vettori is going to find his way inside and either hold him up against the cage or get him on the ground. The Jan fight really made a blueprint for how to beat Izzy, Vettori has the wrestling to pull off the same feat.

Marvin Vettori by Decision +210 1 unit

Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno Flyweight Championship Bout

Similar to the previous pick, Figgy should have won the first match if he had not been deducted a point. I see him coming out here hungry and swinging and getting that finish he seeked in the first bout. Moreno is one of the most improved fighters I’ve ever seen minus Do Bronx. He has incredible BJJ and pretty slick hands to boot, but he just won’t be able to withstand the barrage of punches and kicks he is going to endure early in this fight and will drop ike a sack of potatoes.

Deiveson Figueiredo by 2nd Round TKO +165 (Prop TKO Line) 1 unit

Leon Edwards vs. Nate Diaz Welterweight Bout

The issue here is that Nate Diaz just isn’t good, he’s durable. Leon Edwards is a fucking douche, but he is a good fighter. He is going to control every aspect of this fight and likely take a 50-45 decision win with absolute ease. As long as I don’t get fucked with another eye poke this should be a super easy cash. It is very hard to finish Nate Diaz (Phrasing?) and I don’t think Leon has what it takes to do so, but he does have what it takes to put on a clinic.

Leon Edwards by Decision +140 (Prop Line) 2 units

Demian Maia vs. Belal Muhammad Welterweight Bout

This is the most interesting matchup on the card by far. Belal is a very savvy grappler coming off a bullshit eye poke no contest. Demian Maia is the best BJJ fighter in modern UFC history. I likely would go with Belal if this line was a bit closer, but with the +185 might as well take the shot that Maia finds a submission within the 15 minutes.

Demian Maia by 2nd Round Submission +185 1 unit

Paul Craig vs. Jamahal Hill Light Heavyweight Bout

Super biased here, there is no chance I pick against the Bearjew ever. Jamahal Hill has some of the heaviest hands in this weight class right now but has only been tested by the inconsistent OSP. Paul Craig looked like a man on a mission in his last bout and has incredible grappling. My hope is that Craig is able to secure a takedown and take the gas out of Hill’s hands before he lands anything.

Paul Craig by Decision +210 1 unit

DraftKings Lineup:

That is all I have for this exciting night of fights. Feel like we have a very good chance to bankrupt some books with these bad boys. I will try to tweet out as many of my picks as I can throughout the night, but I am a cool guy so I will probably be doing hot boy shit. I’ll leave you with that, and as always may luck be your lady tonight!
